Supplier pre-qualification
Select Accredit is the national pre-qualification service for the public sector. It has been developed to reduce the amount of administration that suppliers and public sector buyers face during the tender process. Select Accredit offers a simple and structured approach to pre-qualification via supplier assessment across a range of commonly evaluated criteria. Once registered, Select Accredit will allow you to be regarded as a company that is fit to do business with.
There are two Select registration options for suppliers to consider:

Select Accredit - If your company tenders regularly for public sector contracts, you will save time, effort and cost by applying for Select Accredit status. Once you have achieved the Accredit standard, your registration will be accepted by all public bodies that have adopted the Select Accredit service - giving your business visibility to over 8000 public sector buyers.
A business with Select Accredit accreditation will be known as financially stable, compliant with relevant legislative standards, reliable and able to provide a successful trading history - in short a company that is ´fit´ to do business with.
Select Accredit provides third party endorsed assessment across a common range of requirements and demonstrates to public sector buyers that you have achieved a recognised public sector standard
The Select Accredit standard matches the robust standards set for Constructionline and has been developed through consultation with government departments and agencies.
Select Certify
If you do not tender for many public sector contracts or are perhaps looking to do business with the public sector for the first time, you can instead choose to self-certify by completing the online questionnaire, which is free of charge - this service is known as Select Certify.
Select Certify allows suppliers to detail the information commonly requested by public sector buyers. In addition, Select Certify provides access to a centralised database for storing and maintaining your pre-qualification information and a standardised format for submitting Expression of interest data.
